Before joining Scura Partners, Mr. Kelly was Managing Director and Co – Head of the Mergers and Acquisitions Group of Prudential Securities Incorporated from 1993 to 2000. Prior to joining Prudential Securities in July 1993, Mr. Kelly was President of Denbrook Capital Corp., a merchant banking firm, from 1991 to 1993. Prior to Denbrook, Mr. Kelly was at Merrill Lynch from 1980 to 1991 where he was a Managing Director, Mergers & Acquisitions, 1984 to 1986, and then a Managing Director, Merchant Banking, 1986 to 1991. Mr. Kelly began his investment banking career at Lehman Brothers where he worked in Investment Banking from 1974 to 1980. Mr. Kelly graduated from Amherst College in 1971 majoring in Cultural Anthropology and received his M.B.A. degree from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, in 1974. Mr. Kelly is on the Board of Directors of MSC Industrial Direct Co. Inc. (NYSE) and Weight Watchers International Inc. (NYSE).
